Referee eradicate Kerala’s dream, Odisha play out goalless draw
It was an ok-ish match at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi which ended in a goal-less draw. Sahal Abdul Samad was denied a penalty in the first half and Dorronsoro did a massive save to keep out Rahul Kp’s shot.
Both the side could have done much significant but settles with a draw, however its temporary relief for Kerala and Odisha both. Kerala moves to sixth place from the eight and Odisha are happy to take one point from their fourth straight away game.
In the first quarter of the game, from both, the sides had hardly seen any big moment, it was only a midfield based game.
Big setback for Kerala Blasters
On the 24th minute, Aridane and Messi Bouli had a nasty foul, both hurt their head while trying to receive a corner. Both the players were been replaced by Carlos Delgado and Mohamad Rafi.

On the 36th minute a solo attempt from Sahal Abdul Samad from the right flank, and down by Rana inside the box but Referee says no penalty. Although it was a clear cut penalty.

A major chance for Kerala Blasters
On the 44th minute, KBFC had really a great chance. Rahul KP missed a great opportunity to put Kerala ahead. He gets a brilliant cross from the midfield and received in the right flank, tries a scissor kick but it goes over the crossbar.
A big chance for Odisha FC
On the 58th minute, a brilliant cross from Jerry to the far post-Nandhakumar connects the ball but unfortunately can’t guide into the net.
The best ever chance in the match
On the 85th minute, Ogbeche headed a ball towards Rahul KP, he received and shoot towards the goal. Dorronsoro did a massive save and clears the danger for a corner.
