Owen Coyle doesn’t afraid of Jamshedpur & thinks they have to be best

Chennaiyin FC had a disastrous season so far, they are now standing in the 9th position of Indian Super League with 5 points in 6 matches.

Chennaiyin FC also changed their graffer, in the mid-term, they also recruit Premier League’s one of the most successful coaches, Owen Coyle. Chenaiyin FC will play on their 7th game against Jamshedpur FC at the JRD Tata Sports Complex on Monday (9/12/19).

The new Chennaiyin FC coach Owen Coyle addressed the media at the pre-match conference.

Owen Coyle thinks there is plenty of time to change the clubs position

“I think the club has a very good history. They have been champions before. After being champion it was a disappointing season last season and then obviously it has been a relatively slow start I would suggest given the standards of the club. But that being said I think there is plenty of time to change that.” Owen Coyle spoke in the pre-match conference.

Owen Coyle thinks the club needs momentum

“I think the club has a good squad and this season, I think there has been a lot of draws. So I think that if you can get momentum and get a few wins back to back it can catapult you up the league.”

Owen Coyle believes in the slow and steady building

“It is not insurmountable because the gap is not in terms of number, is not a huge deficit. It is surmountable that gap but to do that, you have to win games.

“When you can get those three points and get them back to back of course it pushes you up the table. We have to make sure that slowly but surely we are building.”

Owen Coyle thinks Jamshedpur is a very good team.

“I am looking at my opponent knowing that they are very good players and a very good team. They have some very good individual players. We are very respectful of our opponents because they have great quality and we will pay them our respects.”

Owen Coyle doesn’t afraid of Jamshedpur and thinks they have to be best

“But we don’t come in fear. We come on respect in understanding how good they are but believing that if we at our very best tomorrow then we can win the game. But we have to be at our best. Anything less than that won’t be enough because of the quality that they have.”
