India will be feature in the C group in the AFC U16 Championship
The AFC U16 Championship to be held in Bahrain in 2020 which will be the first international tournament that will be played in the post-COVID 19 outbreak.
The draw of the biennial tournament of AFC U16 edition 2020 has been taken place on 18th June 2020 in Kulalampur. The Indian U16 team has been drawn in Group C alongside two-time champions South Korea, Australia, and 2012 edition winner Uzbekistan.
Group A will be hosted by Bahrain alongside two-time champions North Korea, Iran, and Qatar.
Group B will be hosted by current runners up Tajikistan, Oman, Yemen, and UAE.
Group D is the toughest group among others, it may be considered as the death group 3 times champion Japan, two-time champions Saudi Arabia, China, and Indonesia.
