India move to SAFF U15 Championship final after Beating Bhutan 10-1

Indian U-15 girls team registered their place in the final of South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) U-15 championship after beating the host Bhutan by 10-1.

The one-sided game, India started on the front foot. In the 8th minute, Amisha scored the first goal.

Bhutan equalised almost immediately, in the 9th minute, Sangay Wangmo opens the goalmouth. After that Indian U-15 girl’s team forward Kiran restores the lead in the 15th minute.

After that Indian team made the game one-sided Lynda finished off a fine move in the 19th minute, Kiran again scores in the 21st minute after that Sumati put another in the 24th minute.

India went to the dressing room in the half time with a 5-1 lead.

In the second half, India came out with the same intensity, while in the 54th minute Lynda scores again. Then Sai Sankhae’s three quick goals in the 65th, 66th and 72nd minute help her to complete her Hat-trick. Again in the 86th minute, Sumati put the final nail in the caffeine and made it 10-1.

India booked their place in the SAFF U-15 girls championship final against Bangladesh on Sunday (October 13th 2019) at 2.30 pm IST
