Hero ISL Children League will start from November, eligibility criteria given billow
As it was decided earlier by the All Indian Football Federation (AIFF) and Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), the much-awaited Hero ISL Children League is underway. The founding chairperson of FSDL Mrs Nita Ambani today officially announced the league which will start from this November.
This league is been introduced to strengthen the grassroots program of Indian football, which will enlace in four groups like Under-6,Under-8, Under-10 and Under-12.
No Registration fee required
Under-6 Competition: (born between 1st January 13 and 31st December 2014 )
Under-8 Competition : (born between 1st January 11 and 31st December 2012)
Under-10 Competition : (born between 1st January 09 and 31st December 2010)
Under-12 Competition : (born between 1st January 07 and 31st December 2008)
Note- An applicant shall not be allowed to represent more than one/institute/club/academy and play in more than one age category during the same season of the league.
In the first year, the league will commence in three states West Bengal (Kolkata, Howrah, Hooghly), Arunachal Pradesh (Itanagar) and Meghalaya (Shillong). Currently, each district can host one or more leagues. According to FSDL, they want to reach 12 states with 40,000 children cumulatively from all groups in the upcoming three years.
