FIFA orderd Cradiff to pay Nantes €6m for the plane crash victim Emiliano Sala
FIFA Players status Committee has told Cardiff City to pay Nantes €6million for Emiliano Sala. He became the record-breaking signing for Cardiff, but the deal was struck in January.
Before making his first appearance for Cardiff City, the playing carrying him to Wales from France crashed and he died.
Cardiff claimed an agreement to pay Nantes a €15 million fee but not legally binding because of the condition were not been fulfilled by Nantes.
The €6 million should receive by Nantes from Cardiff said by the Players Status Committee as the “corresponding to the first instalment due.”
A statement read: ” The FIFA players status committee, which never lost sight of specific and unique circumstances of the tragic situation during its deliberations on the dispute at stake, refrained from imposing the procedural cost on the parties.
“The findings of the decision were notified to the parties concerned today.”
