Hyderabad FC:Albert Roca gets call from FC Barcelona as an Asst Manger
After humiliation in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final against Bayern Munich, FC Barcelona sacked their manager Quique Stien and recruit Roland Koeman as their head coach.
Meanwhile, Hyderabad FC has signed Albert Roca as their head coach. Who was also manged Barcelona back in 2003-2008.
As per the report of TOI Ronald Koeman wants Albert Roca as a manger of Fc Barcelona again. His performance in Barcelona was outstanding and his management and scouting were very good.
Roca’s performance in Bengaluru FC was eyecatching. He promoted Bengaluru FC in the AFC Champions final and this was the highest achievement by any Indian club.
After all this effort FC Barcelona management wants him as the assistant coach of Camp Nou with a lucrative salary.
Senior Official of Hyderabad Fc confirms about the Barcelona offer
“Yes, there is an offer (from Barcelona), but we are waiting for more clarity. This is in the early stages and we expect to know more about this on Tuesday. We don’t know how to react to this.” A senior official of the club told TOI.
Albert Roca will decide what will he do
“Obviously, it’s a big opportunity for Roca to go to Barcelona, but Hyderabad FC have to look at their own interest too. The club depends a lot on Roca. This is not an easy decision. We are hoping we can find an amicable solution”
